Plot Synopsis

In the post-Reform and Opening-up era, Yuan Yanqiu, the leading actress of the Yancheng Huaiju Troupe, decides to pass on her signature role of the White Snake to her beloved disciple Fang Bailing. Together, master and apprentice return to the stage, confronting the challenges of artistic inheritance and personal growth.

改革开放后，盐城淮剧团当家花旦袁雁秋决定将《白蛇传》中白娘子的角色传给爱徒方百灵。师徒二人重返舞台，在传承与成长的碰撞中，共同面对舞台的考验与人生的抉择。
